MENTAL HEALTH
The Sound Box Society is currently in the process of organizing a series of Mental Health Education Webinars, featuring guest speakers who are very accomplished in the world of psychology and counselling.

CAREER EDUCATION
Sound Box Society upholds the consistent philosophy. We explore ourselves and care about the people in our community. Starting in October 2024, Sound Box Society and TRNT Educational Institute will jointly launch a large series of career exploration workshops, SpiderSpark, inviting front-line practitioners from all walks of life to interact with students. We will further invite the students to all kinds of different workplaces to gain an in-depth understanding of the industry to help the students find their true passion and explore their future careers.
SENIORS
Since 2022, the Sound Box Society has been hosting various recreational and educational activities for Chinese seniors in West Vancouver, including group dance, Tai Chi, and English learning classes. These activities take place at the West Vancouver Seniors' Centre and the West Vancouver Community Centre.

WETALK
The Sound Box Society hosts an introductory English course. Each meeting is loosely centred around a different topic, which members take turns choosing with the help of a list of brainstormed ideas. Conversation formats are flexible and include presentations, debates, brainstorms, and more. All meetings occur online.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
At the end of last academic year, we formed the Sound Box International Students and newcomers support team. We are preparing a variety of projects and events, including orientation activities, compulsory tutoring for after-school assignments, education lectures, English clubs, a series of career exploration programs, parent salons led by registered counselors, and more.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Sound Box Society seeks to improve Greater Vancouver by organizing and volunteering at a variety of events to help the community, including Lunar Year Celebrations, Dragon Boat Festivals, peer support events, fundraisers etc.
