ABOUT US
The Sound Box Society is a non-profit organization based in Greater Vancouver, BC established in November 2022.
The name Sound Box Society comes from our strong desire to bring out and illuminate invaluable voices in our communities that are seldom heard.
Our purpose is to help improve local communities across Greater Vancouver through volunteer service, fundraising, and organizing a variety of community-building activities.
Our projects have ranged from planning dance, tai-chi, and English learning classes for Chinese seniors to mental health education and counselling for parents and youth. We also host a range of programs for newcomers and international students, offering English clubs and tutoring.

OUR LOGO
The Sound Box Society logo was created through our Logo Competition event, hosted in 2023. We sought to encourage students to be creative and take on the design challenge of making our official logo.
We reviewed many submissions which were put through a preliminary round. Final designs were submitted to a panel of judges who ultimately selected the work of Angela Dai as our current insignia.
